Scheduling will be done on Sunday for the upcoming week via text. Please note the days you will need and the desired time frame. If your pet is on a recurring schedule for weekly walks, please confirm that the schedule will stay the same, or if it will be different for the following week. Although we book up very quickly, we will do our best to fit in any last minute requests or occasional walks. Please respond to the Sunday scheduling text by 5pm Sunday. Any walk requests submitted after 5pm Sunday will carry a $5 late addition charge. 

Please note that we can not guarantee exact visit times. We ask that you provide a desired window of time in which for your dog to be walked. For example, 11am-2pm or 12pm-3pm.

Last Minute/Same Day Booking Request

Last minute and same day booking requests will carry a $5 fee on top of the standard service fee for the service requested. Things come up, and we understand that! We will try to accommodate any and all last minute bookings to the best of our ability. This fee applies to dog walking and drop-in visits only.


Cancellations without advanced 24 hour notice will still be charged for the full fee of the service. Please understand that this time was set aside specifically for you which means that the other requests for that time slot may have been turned down. Partial refunds may be given and will be determined on a case by case basis. 

If you have a scheduled walk and someone is home when we arrive/we are not needed, the full visit fee will apply. If we arrive at your home and can not gain access to your home for whatever reason, the full visit fee will apply as well. 

For dog boarding and pet sitting visits, any cancellation made less than 72 hours before the scheduled service will not be credited. 

Holiday Fees

Visits scheduled during holiday's will carry an additional $7 fee per visit for standard visits. For overnight stays, it will be an additional $20/night. The following holiday's carry this additional fee:

Thanksgiving Eve Day, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, Christmas Eve Day, Christmas Day

New Year's Eve Day, New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day

Extreme & Inclement Weather

With the safety of your pet and our walkers in mind, scheduled dog walking visits are subject to change depending upon weather conditions. Whenever a "Code Red" or "Code Blue" is in effect, all dog walks will automatically change to potty breaks. The remainder of the visit will be spent inside with the dog. Due to the risks associated with being out in extreme conditions, rates are not changed due to shortened walks. Paws Up reserves the right to cancel services up to the day of service if we deem that the weather conditions will be too hazardous or dangerous. With that being said, we will make every attempt to provide services in the safest way possible. 

Please keep in mind that in situations where there are snow and ice, any surface where the walker will be walking with the dog, as well as pathways/driveways to your home, must be cleared and safe to walk on. If they are not cleared, the walker will not be able to perform his/her duties and the fill visit fee will be charged.
